Director of Field Operations: This position is for a more experienced person looking to for something not strictly construction management.  I have a former student that is the VP of Operations at Sungevity.  Sungevity, a residential solar sales and installation program looking for Director of Field Ops to oversee our installation and service operations. Solar installs closely mirror construction in how it requires multiple phases, permits, roof construction.  Let me know if you are interested or know someone who is.

Capital Commercial Flooring Inc.: CCF is a commercial flooring company based in Sacramento with annual sales over $10 million with over 50 installers.  They are looking for an intern to help with submittals, LEED information, safety, takeoffs/estimating, writing proposals purchasing materials and scheduling.  This is a great opportunity to work with a specialty subcontractor and you will experience many aspect of managing construction work. What's Going on In Classes

CM 121: There will be a lecture on Tuesday, but no organized labs this week. Work on McKinley Park.

CM 124: Work on the final lab project. I have graded 4 labs. I'll try to find a way to get them back to you.

CM 126: There's a big day of presentations on Monday: Efrain Ramirez, Arturo Marin, Mark Dantes, and Jason Miller will all be presenting. Since there are four presentations, that means a total of eight people will be slated to perform reviews of those presentations. I'll let those parties know tomorrow. There will also be a quiz. Bad news: tomorrow is not a good day to cut. Good news: you get Wednesday off.
