Solar installs closely mirror construction in how it requires multiple phases, permits, roof construction.  Let me know if you are interested or know someone who is.

If interested, contact me.

What's Going on In Classes

It's about to get bananas. This is out last full week before Thanksgiving.

CM 121: Goodyear is due this week. Submit your estimate electronically by the end of your respective lab period. See SacCT for more details. In lecture, we will be talking about estimating subcontractor work (Tuesday) and the estimating process (Thursday). Lab will be allocated to working on McKinley Park.

CM 124: We'll basically be working on the final project. Gareth posted info on SacCT.

CM 126: Monday's presentations will be the trio of Neil Devlin, Edgar Fuerte, and Kyle Simonini. Read the case study and ask questions as appropriate. Wednesday's presentations will be Rob Clark and Dan Millan. We will also be discussing Case 7 (Rattlesnake Rd), which is due Wednesday morning (see SacCT for details).

As a heads up, we will be having four presentations on Monday, November 25 (Efrain Ramirez, Arturo Marin, Mark Dantes, and Jason Miller). We will also be having a quiz that day. There's no class on Wednesday Nov. 27.

The following week, we will have two guest lectures from industry: C.W. Driver on Technology and Swinerton is bringing two Superintendents to talk to you about running projects. I'm looking forward to both. There will be questions on the final based on both guest lectures. You've been warned.
